Books built for audit and tax
We set up and keep your accounts so VAT returns, corporate tax and the audit run smoothly.
Zoho Books is a cloud accounting system widely used by UAE small and medium businesses. SGA World, an official Zoho partner, sets up Zoho Books for UAE VAT and corporate tax, migrates data from spreadsheets or other software, connects bank feeds, trains your team and can keep the books for you each month. Because we are auditors and tax advisers, the set-up is built to produce figures that stand up at year end.
Zoho Books with SGA World
Zoho Books is a cloud accounting system used by thousands of UAE small and medium businesses for invoicing, expenses, banking, inventory, VAT and reporting. A good set-up saves hours every month; a poor one creates VAT errors, messy ledgers and a painful year-end audit.
SGA World is an official Zoho partner and implements and supports Zoho Books for UAE businesses. As auditors and tax advisers, we set it up the way your VAT return, corporate tax return and auditor will need it, and we can keep the books for you afterwards.

Why SGA World
We set up and keep your accounts so VAT returns, corporate tax and the audit run smoothly.
SGA World is a Ministry of Economy and Tourism approved audit firm, so our reports are accepted where it matters.
Auditors, VAT, corporate tax and transfer pricing specialists work together, so nothing falls between advisers.
A team of chartered accountants qualified in India and the UK, focused on UAE rules.
Mainland and free zone companies, from start-ups and SMEs to regional groups.
Our audit work is recognised by major UAE banks for facilities and account reviews.
UAE tax set-up
Worked example
A Dubai trading company with two staff has kept its books in Excel for three years. It is VAT registered and must now file corporate tax returns.
1. We close and reconcile the Excel books and agree a trial balance. 2. We design a chart of accounts that separates entertainment, fines, owner costs and related-party balances for corporate tax. 3. We set up VAT treatments, reverse charge on imported services and invoice templates with the TRN. 4. We load opening balances, open invoices and bills, and connect bank feeds. 5. We run a trial VAT return and compare it with the last return filed. 6. We train the team, then keep the books monthly.
At year end, the auditor receives clean ledgers and the corporate tax computation is largely automatic.

Fees and timing
Our fee depends on the number of transactions, whether inventory or projects are used, how much history is migrated, the number of bank accounts and users, and whether you want monthly bookkeeping afterwards. Zoho Books subscriptions are paid directly to Zoho. We quote a fixed set-up fee after a short review.
