Monthly accounting
Investor-ready books, deferred revenue and burn reporting.
Tech start-ups and fintechs in the UAE need investor-grade accounts: SaaS revenue under IFRS 15, share options under IFRS 2, SAFEs and convertible notes, and clean data for due diligence. They must register for corporate tax and choose between small business relief and QFZP. Fintechs also deal with regulators such as the CBUAE, DFSA, FSRA or VARA. SGA World provides accounting, audit and tax.
Tech and fintech at a glance
Start-ups and fintechs raise money on the strength of their numbers. Investors expect clean monthly accounts, correct revenue recognition, a tidy cap table and a clear cash runway, and every UAE company now has corporate tax obligations from day one.
SGA World provides accounting, audit, corporate tax and virtual CFO support to tech start-ups, SaaS companies and fintechs in Dubai and Abu Dhabi, including companies in Dubai Internet City, DIFC, ADGM, DSO and Meydan. We keep your numbers investor-ready, from seed to Series B.

| Funding instruments | IAS 32 and IFRS 9 | SAFEs and notes classified by their terms. |
| Development costs | IAS 38 | Capitalise only when criteria are met. |
