DMCC
Audited accounts by a DMCC approved auditor, uploaded within six months of the year end.
JAFZA and DAFZA
Audits by firms on the zone's approved auditor list, linked to licence renewal.
DDA zones (Internet City, Media City, Knowledge Park, Academic City)
Audited accounts by a DDA approved auditor, generally within six months.
DIFC
Own company and employment laws; DFSA-regulated firms need a DFSA-registered auditor.
Free zone companies trading on the mainland
Since Resolution No. 11 of 2025, a branch licence or temporary permit is available; mainland income can affect QFZP status.
